At the beginning of August, just 1 day after finishing the bar, we packed up and headed to OBX. It was so wonderful to get away and spend quality time together. After a hectic July, we definitely needed the sand and sun. It rained the first few days we were there, but the sun eventually came out and we spent as much time as possible at the beach. It was Levi's first time at the ocean, and we weren't 100% sure how he'd take to the sand and waves. Much to our delight, he LOOOOOOVVEED it. He would have spent every waking minute on the beach if he could. It was so fun to see him dig in the sand and carry around his little sand tools. We can't wait to go back next year!
