Even though Piper was only a few weeks old, we were determined to make the most of fall and all the activities it has to offer. Our first stop, was a little farm just outside of Columbus. You can't tell from the photos, but it was ridiculously crowded, and we weren't that impressed. But we made the most of it, bought pumpkin donuts, and walked around, but I really wanted to pick a pumpkin from a patch, so we bought some indian corn and some gourds and decided not to buy a pumpkin.
ps. my little baby got A LOT of attention for being all cozy.

She slept the ENTIRE TIME.
So, the next weekend, very unseasonably hot day, we had lunch at Steak and Shake, and went to our favorite little pumpkin patch in Canal Winchester, Schacht Farms. We walked around the patch until we found the perfect pumpkin. It was so hot, it didn't take long for Levi to decide he was DONE. Scott had to carry him clear back to the little store.
But, we did get our pumpkin and photos!

Poor kid was so hot and ready for a nap.
