The Saturday after Scott finished THE WORST semester ever (btw, he got 2 A+, an A, and an A-!!! I'm soooo proud!) We had our first Christmas. We made breakfast, had hot chocolate, turned the yule log on the TV(or should I say, the Darth Vader funeral pyre, we're horrible, I know.), and opened presents in front of our Charlie Brown tree. Later that day, we spent a bit at the playground. It was such a wonderful day to spend together.
Levi opening his first present!
He got his first bank!
Watching Puffin Rock together.
We went for a chilly swing in the park
It's never too early to teach our children the true meaning of Christmas.
We started our tradition of reading the Christmas story, although, he squirmed through the entire thing.
We made sure to visit the Rockefeller tree. We opted for daytime, because it's insane at night, and we didn't feel like fighting the crowds. This way, we could keep Levi all snuggled up in his stroller.
One of my favorite parts about Christmastime in the city, is the window displays. These displays were at Saks Fifth Avenue, Bergdorf Goodman also does incredible displays.
Of course, one of our favorite parts about Christmas, is so much time with daddy! It's hard to believe that this is the last Christmas we have to worry about him starting school in January.
Tickle fight!
Our New Years was quiet and uneventful. We barely stayed up til midnight, but we made it! We spent our time playing Mario Kart and watching the Times Square festivities after Levi went to bed.
Happy New Year!
