Thanksgiving weekend always hosts several memorable traditions, but my favorite is probably our annual Christmas Tree hunt! We all jump in the car and head down the road to the neighboring tree farm. We park in a back field, and start our search. The choosing of the actual tree usually doesn't take too terribly long, but we slow the process down with shenanigans, photos, and making sure we inspect every contender. It was so fun to have both kiddos there, Levi loved stomping around in the tall weeds, and Mazie was content to hang out on her mama's shoulders. This year was probably one of the best trees we've ever found. It was so perfect, it almost looked fake. I realize now, that I didn't get a photo of the tree in the wild, but you'll definitely see it during the Christmas festivities.
