Our little Ohio Christmas

Each year we set aside a full day to do our Christmas, since we spend the 24th and 25th in Chillicothe. This year, we celebrated our own little Christmas on Christmas 'Adam'. It was so special because it was the time in 5 years that Scott was actually free for the Christmas season. Last year, we made it to see Macy's Santa Claus, but we squeezed that in on a random Tuesday night after work. It was hectic, but we made it happen! (you can see that HERE)

The morning of the 23rd, We opened all of our presents and it was so fun to see Levi actually enjoy tearing the wrapping paper and finding out what was inside. I think his favorite present was the $5 matchbox car set we got him to go with his car skyway. He's OBSESSED.
Scott bought me a few adorable gifts, but the main gift was an external flash for me camera! I was so shocked and excited, and put it to use right away. I gave Scott a  law book for his job that he had been desperately wanting, and I restarted his collection of vintage Ronald Reagan campaign pins. His were stolen back in the summer when our home was broken into. We tried to read the Christmas story, TWICE out of his Big Picture Bible, we opened our stocking and we found out that Levi LOVES junior mints. After presents, we had our big Christmas breakfast and spent time together the rest of the day. When night came, we went to our church and celebrated the Eve of the Eve with a wonderful service and cookies at the end!

Earlier in the week, we made a trip up to Easton to see the Christmas lights. It had snowed, so it was pretty magical. Levi loved the huge tree, and we said happy birthday to Jesus in the nativity.
