The other day, Scott and I had a week day off, after a particularly long and exhausting weekend. We woke up and took an early morning walk. It had rained that night so everything was still a little damp and quiet. The park was empty but for a few men fishing. We came back and laid in bed and watched tv, our kits were just snuggling around. Later, we went out to eat and ended the day on the porch watching a huge storm pass by. It was the perfect day.

It is days like these, why I love life with my husband so much. It doesn't matter how crazy, stressful or busy life gets, you have a day like this, and you can get back to the basics, you remember how lovely it is to do life together.
