The 3 emotional stages of my 'hungry' fat cat.

1. The cry for help. Incessant meowing starts (at any hour of the day or night) that his bowl is 'completely' empty and he will surely die.

2. The feeble victim. He weakly reaches into the bowl and pulls out a single piece of food. 

3. Defeat. He gives me a long, sad, hopeless look, then bends down and eats the single piece, his last piece, for he will surely die.
