Old Town, San Diego

This little pit stop was so random. I honestly didn't know anything about Old Town, but since it had Cold Stone Creamery and was only 5 minutes away from the zoo, it just kinda happened. But I'm so glad we stopped! It was such a cute little place. Definitely worth a couple hours to walk around and eat. There were a few shops in the historical part that had workers dressed in historical outfits.

When you first enter Old Town, it has a very Mexican influence with tons of restaurants. I was bummed we weren't hungry enough for dinner.

At the other end of Old Town is the Historic Park. We honestly weren't prepared for a semi-working historical town. There were several General Stores and dessert shops. It was such a cute and interesting place!

Note the worker eating her dinner in her historic garb. haha

Wells Fargo

This General Store had basically every Root Beer from around the nation, AND they had Cheerwine!
We obviously took some home.

We arrived back in Laguna right as the sun was setting. It was such an incredible sunset, we pulled over to the first place we could to snap some photos.
