Mother's Day Part II: A stroll through Central Park for Ice Cream

After our fun tour of the 'You've Got Mail' sights, and after our stomachs were full of delicious Mexican food, we set off for the best ice cream in the city, Sprinkles! The only thing between us and that glorious cone, was 20 blocks, 2 avenues, and an entire park, so we made an afternoon of it.

We stopped by Strawberry Fields and watched as everyone paid their respects to John Lennon. There was this old couple that actually embraced each other as they looked at the memorial. whatever. We took a break overlooking the great lawn so Levi could nurse, we walked past the Bow Bridge, and we finally made it to the the Upper East Side, to my beloved Sprinkles. Then, once we had our snacks in hand, we turned around and made the trip back. Totally worth it.

Nursing in public, like a pro.
Not 20 feet away, there was another young couple doing the same thing. haha

I love this boy that made me a mama. This year has been our greatest adventure.

We made it to Sprinkles! I had the Butter Pecan in a funfetti cake-batter waffle cone. Plus, the pecans were CANDIED!
OH MY GOSH. It was incredible.

It wouldn't be a trip to Sprinkles without some cupcakes from the ATM.

What a wonderful first Mother's Day! I honestly couldn't ask for a better little family. God has so richly blessed us. Happy Mother's Day to all the mothers out there as well!
